I have a serious illness from a medical drug and only tucker carlson and alex jones are investigated it. It crippled me. Professor- please explain how the mathematics of our ancestors coming down from the trees approx 2 million years ago is possible. Since we know natural selection uses "random mutation" to create changes in species, and we know that over 99% of mutations are harmful or lethal. We also know the rate that random mutations occur. So it should be a very reasonable process to calculate the number of mutations needed to go from chimps to modern humans. Once this number is calculated, we can then divide the number of mutations needed into the 2 million years since chimps began to evolve into humans. When I do the calculations with the above information provided by the experts --- there is not even close to the amount of time needed for these random mutations to occur and produce us in just a span of 2 million years. I have asked this question to many PHd scientists and they just get angry and resort to insulting my question. But maybe you can provide me a reasonable answer? I assume you have made the above calculation and can explain it here, since it is the basis for the theory of evolution. Thank you

I'm a Christian, and I have to admit that Seth said some true things here. I don't agree with a lot of it, but he did make some good points. What I agree with (a few examples): He is absolutely right about the woman shaming, how when a woman has sex she's a s*ut and a w*ore, and men aren't name-called as much. As a man, I agree that is very wrong. I don't object to masturbation, and fun fact neither does my Pastor. That Purity Ball thing is CREEPY. (Also, if you're "married to God", you "divorce Him" in favor of a physical man.) What I disagree with has to be a summary. There are plenty of reasons why God wants Christians to save sex for marriage. And you pointed out some of them, like STDs. Sex was clearly meant for 2 people- I have a cousin who had sex out of marriage- his girlfriend got pregnant and they had the kid late January. Before the month ended, they had a fight and broke up and my cousin takes care of him with his new girlfriend with some joint parenthood with the Mom. They thought they were ready for sex, but they couldn't resolve a fight just mere days after their son was born. Don't get me wrong, I love my baby cousin, but he clearly wasn't born when my cousin was ready for sex in his relationship. The best way to sum up what I disagree with is that sex is for a committed relationship for people who actually have a bon and love for each other- sex is meant to strengthen that. And our culture just says "use that for pleasure"- that's what leads to unwanted babies, abortions, STDs, broken hearts, and other problems. And yes- abortions- if you didn't want a kid, what you expecting from sex? If you want control over your own body, control your sexual urges if you don't want a kid. In short- don't shame women, purity balls are creepy, but try to save sex for marriage to avoid broken hearts, disease, and "unwanted" children.
